This fancy book is available October 2nd (next Wednesday…that’s less than a week away, eeka yikes it’s happening).
At least, it’s available in ebook.
I was also hoping to have a print version available then, but things don’t always work out nicely. Especially when learning how to do them for yourself the first time (I’ve never published a book, of course there’s going to be some trial and error).
Nothing majorly wrong has happened. It’s just that I thought I’d have time to order a proof copy of the book, check over it for errors, make any changes to the online files, then approve a printed version to go on sale, all in the neat little timeline I wanted.
But it took almost 2 weeks for the proof copy to arrive, and apparently it takes another ~2 weeks after I say “Yep, this book is ready to be distributed” for any platform (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.) to list the print book on their site.
So the print version won’t be available on October 2nd like I was hoping. Unless something magic happens, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
It will be available soon though!
