Is this a lot? Yeah, it is.

So I have been thinking about this video a lot, and more importantly, the whole trend in the world leading to stuff like these anti-trans/LGBTQ+ bills in the U.S.

ooh, fancy thumbnail

The anti-trans, anti-autistic, anti-[fill in the blank] attitudes everywhere are making me sad, and making me angry. So here I have gathered a bunch of poems that make me think about life. (Plus here’s a thing I wrote a while ago that’s applicable)

Two poems by Andrea Gibson:

“like most of my queer friends I don’t have a child, I have millions from Nebraska to Chechnya”

Including a reminder this is not a new or unique issue

“who are my people, what determines whose death will store in my chest”

And that one poem I found by a black person

“If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.” -Lilla Watson

tl;dr, we just wanna live our lives in peace, you know?
