Not sure where to begin?

I have 3 published books.

I’d recommend reading Graveyard of Lullabies first as it’s available as a free ebook on most retail sites (but not Amazon because Amazon is silly and won’t let me list it for free).

Graveyard has a sequel, After Forever Falls Apart. Together, these make the Death Magic Duology. They follow a death mage in a tundra. See: dark fantasy, poetic prose, emotional, akin to Tamsyn Muir’s Locked Tomb series and I seriously hope I’m living up to that comparison because someone else told me to use that comparison…

The third book is called So Speaks the Ruinous Light, book one of the trilogy To Herald a Dawn (books 2 and 3 written but not released). Think dark one except sprinkle in some queer religious trauma in there and switch how light vs dark applies to good vs evil.

Aside from my published books, I’m…in a lot of places. So read on if you’re interested in the deep lore. Otherwise, you’re free to go (after you subscribe to my newsletter mwa-ha-ha).

First, Wattpad: I started on Wattpad in February of 2022, though I’ve been largely inactive on there since, like, 2025, because I quite frankly was not seeing success there. But I met some great people through Wattpad who gave helpful feedback and had great stories themselves. I’ve posted a lot of stuff there (including a less-edited version of Ruinous Light), if you want to check out my profile: https://www.wattpad.com/user/jordynsaelor

Second, Archive of Our Own: this is a volunteer-run site dedicated to posting fan works of all sorts of fandoms, which also allows the posting of original, non-fandom-related works. I started on Archive of Our Own (AO3) because someone who commented on my fanfiction Kree Annihilators on Wattpad recommended I put the story on AO3, too. I did. Since then I’ve posted a handful of stories there, including this Stranger Things fanfic byler+x-men crossover thing, because I (along with many other people) was extremely annoyed by the queerbait of Stranger Thing’s fifth and final season. My profile is here: https://archiveofourown.org/users/jordynsaelor

Third, this website’s blog: I started this website in January of 2021 with basically no idea what I was doing. You can find early drafts of Graveyard of Lullabies that I started posting around that time. Since then, I’ve written a bunch of poems and haikus and articles about Stranger Things or One Piece or songs or autism or whatever else.

Fourth-ish, serial fiction: in addition to poems and articles, I’ve posted serial fiction to this site, including Landscape of a Heart and Can’t Catch Me Now, novels in verse about witches and demons and realm hopping and what real happiness means. I also have some older short stories about teens with superpowers, and one short story about an alter in a DID system.

Fifth, I have a small li’l youtube channel: this came about as a marketing plan to try and get more people to find out about my books, but mostly I just play minecraft and edit it so it suits my weird tastes.

Sixth, SoundCloud: I’ve posted some songs on here in the past, some admittedly better than others, but usually now I’m putting the music on youtube as background for the minecraft playing.
