Now, if you read their homepage, you may notice this bookstore is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
So you may then ask, Jordyn, are you local to Salt Lake City and is that how you as a self-published author got your book there?
And isn’t Utah, like, mormon land (a religion that’s rather anti-queer)?
Normally I’d say, I’m not keen on sharing personal details about my life, but in this case…let’s go heal some religious trauma out there, okay?
But that is not what I want this post to focus on (though I might write more details about it some other day).
Instead, this is the time and place to be like, yay queer bookstores and safe spaces, yay you can go there and buy physical books including one that’s basically my firstborn child, yay books are awesome–and this is totally a cheesy way to conclude this, but you reader are awesome too.
