I love you

To

infinity

and

beyond, am I right?

Like a circle ever going round,

There is

no end to our future.

We could chase the sun

set and rise,

eat it like an orange

and spill the glow between our teeth

at midnight, a night light to remind

this bed and stars and moon, that

we spent forever searching in dark

but by chance

we broke

that cycle

when we fell in each other’s arms–

I’m still grateful

the odds fell in favor

of this

stumbling off of one path

and landing on

another,

lifting me

up to brighter orbits with you.
