where they screamed about being dragged
to a material world,
we coexisted
just fine.
Ish.
I gave them the task
of deleting guilt
from me
and they
spent a lot of time
deleting other emotions instead.

Of course,
I learned,
one cannot
just exist
without rules.
Cuz how would you fly
without
lift
and thrust
and how impressive
would it be
to defy gravity
without
any gravity?
But of course,
it’s always true
that just because
gravity exists
doesn’t mean
things were never meant
to defy it.
