The title for this song came about when I was listening to the last 2 minutes or so and the different sections fit together in an unexpected way, and my reaction was “what voodoo magic is this?”
While making it, I was super focused on all the individual parts, so when I listened to the whole thing together, I found this intense synergy I hadn’t known was there.
Isn’t it awesome when something you’ve created surprises you?
(note: I’m not trying to infringe on anyone’s culture by using voodoo as a term to describe what this music sounded like to me…)
