Pride Month

Anti-trans laws are being enacted across the country,

and Disney’s supporting questionable things

but it’s okay! (haha not)

Exclusively this June, Marvel’s selling rainbow t-shirts of their vaguely, maybe-not-straight characters,

companies have their decked-out-with-rainbows pride collection,

like,

“Buy our products, because we totally support lgbtq+ people!”

But the real issue isn’t an overexposure of rainbow logos

or Pride Collections

or trying to make money (people do have to make money),

the issue is

making me believe I can trust you,

I can be safe here, express myself all colorfully and what not,

when the safety never lasts

any day after June’s passed.
