Here’s 6 quotes about life and decisions that I enjoy! Though, I’m honestly not much of a quote person. I don’t actively collect quotes, and when I hear a really good one I’m not great about writing it down somewhere to remember it.
So…here’s some that I enjoy that I can think of off the top of my head.
A 6-word story by Ernest Hemingway. “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”
Overused in my opinion, but still meaningful: “Not all who wander are lost.” -J. R. R. Tolkien
“Feelings don’t have edges like words do.” -Jessica Kellgren-Fozard
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–I took the one less traveled by.” -Robert Frost. I love this quote because popular media interprets it like “go be brave and bold and dare greatly and be different” but if you read the actual poem, it’s about how the two paths in the wood are no different from each other. So it doesn’t matter which path the narrator took.
“It’s a leap of faith, Miles.” -from Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.
“When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, and sit back and watch while the world wonders how you did it.” -I have no idea who came up with this quote. My sister?
